In 2004 Iraqi-American Sami Rasouli moved from the United States to his home country of Iraq, where he founded the non-governmental organization Muslim Peacemaker Teams. Since then he has been a tireless advocate for the people of Iraq and for peace, reconciliation, and nonviolence.
