تحت شعار " الإعلام الحر .. قطاع قائد في طريق البناء الديمقراطي " ينفذ معهد أكد الثقافي حالياَ مشروع ( أقلام جديدة للصحافة البابلية) ، بالتعاون مع منظمة البحث والتبادل الدولي IREX ، لرفع الكفاءة و التدريب للإعلاميين في الصحافة المكتوبة، لمواجهة متطلبات الإعلام الحر في التصدي للتحولات المجتمعية نحو الديمقراطية في محافظة بابل.

Many Greetings from Babylon
" New Pens for babel Journalism " ...this is the new project , which we implement now to :"Rising efficiency and generate new journalists to face increasing number of media establishments and facing needs of journalists whom must work in its ,to develop mass media and to follow the social transformations in the democratic process and take part in Iraq building" on Feb. 2012 .
We planned our works to achieve this goal by implementing 3 basic media training workshops for 3 categories of journalists with the following sequence ;
1- Workshop for new graduated youths whom have full interest to work in media fields, to generate new journalists.
2- Workshop for Journalists from free media establishments and NGOs to rise their levels ,skills and efficiency.
3- Workshop for Journalists from media departments in the Governorate establishments and Directorates to develop their skills towards media in democratic system and new media.
4- Arrange cohabiting in one known media establishment for all these categories seriatim , in the same conditions ,under one auditor hands.
5- Publishing series of bulletin contain the outputs of the trainee and trying to publish its on the net and on the Akad Cultural Institute website.
